Colorful Capital is excited to announce a forthcoming webinar titled “Outsized Impact: How Investment Can Address the Systemic Risk of LGBTQIA+ Inequity.” This virtual event will delve into the insights and actionable frameworks presented in Colorful Capital’s latest report, exploring the systemic inequities facing the LGBTQIA+ community and the role of investment in addressing these challenges.
Scheduled for September 13, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to noon ET, the webinar will feature key figures from the investment and LGBTQIA+ advocacy communities. Attendees will gain insights into how historic inequities were established and persist in the United States and how investors can play a pivotal role in rectifying these longstanding exclusions. The session will be co-hosted by the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), Out in Finance, StartOut, and The Investment Integration Project (TIIP).
The webinar will outline practical steps for investors, including developing investment belief statements, establishing shareholder engagement programs, and incorporating system-level considerations in manager selection and assessment.
